Our History

Thespian Academy was founded in 2005 by renowned acting coach, Eleanor Vance, and accomplished stage director, Arthur Finch. Driven by a shared passion for acting and a desire to provide aspiring actors with the highest quality training, Eleanor and Arthur envisioned a school that would combine rigorous instruction with personalized mentorship. Starting with a small group of students in a rented studio, Thespian Academy quickly gained a reputation for excellence and attracted talent from across the country.

Over the years, Thespian Academy has grown into a leading acting school in Los Angeles, with state-of-the-art facilities, a dedicated faculty of industry professionals, and a diverse student body. Our alumni have gone on to achieve success in film, television, theatre, and other areas of the performing arts. Despite our growth, we have remained true to our founding principles: a commitment to excellence, a focus on personalized attention, and a dedication to fostering a supportive and inspiring community.
